Remembrance Day at Whonnock Lake Centre
A dozen of us gathered at Whonnock Lake Centre. We laid a wreath at both the 1914-1918 plaque and the plaque commemorating the Second World War and later conflicts. We observed our moment of silence. We recited In Flanders Fields and sang Oh Canada. Some left their poppies there. We met old friends and made new ones.
