On behalf of the Maple Ridge Community Heritage Commission Mayor Ernie Daykin presented Trudi Desrochers and Steve Bentley with a Heritage Building Award in recognition of their continuing efforts in keeping the heritage property at 26903 River Road in the same way it was when Brian and Isabel Byrnes lived there. This happened at a ceremony held on Thursday, February 2012.
