One Book Whonnock

On Thursday night, One Book Whonnock discussed Chris Hadfield’s An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth. According to Hadfield, Tim Horton’s coffee was the favourite drink on the International Space Station. Appropriately, Tim Horton’s of 230^th Street at Dewdney Trunk Road generously donated the coffee that was consumed at the get-together.

Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

The Wonnock Community Association's Volunteer of the Year Award for 2017 went to Fran & Al Norman who have been looking after Thornhill Hall for 18 years.
